2

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: feminine, initiate. Podcast she also has a very active Facebook community by the same name, and that is a soul led community for online coaches, creative visionaries, and aspiring entrepreneurs, ready to do the thing and make their positive impact through mindfulness, personal branding and podcasting. Welcome to the show. Jess. It's great to have you with us.

3

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: Thank you so much, Jill. I'm really so excited to be here with you today.

4

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: It's gonna be fun.

5

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Tell us your story. How did you get into all of this? Because I know it's it's was

6

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: one fateful day.

7

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: It was. Yeah, absolutely. I mean before that I'll say that I was born and raised in Northern Ontario, and I had a great life. But I think like a lot of us, I ended up losing my sense of self worth

8

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: probably, you know, got to school teenage years when you just really want to fit in, and maybe it wasn't quite working out. They always had great friends, but there was just like comments from others that I really took to heart, and so I lost my sense of self worth, and I thought that I was only valuable. If I was with other people I got into people pleasing all of that really lost what I really wanted to do.

9

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: And then I wasn't really aware of it at the time. So I just thought, okay, this is live. I'm just gonna continue on my life. You know, I wasn't dealt. You know, this was the cards that I was dealt with. And I'm just gonna like this is life.

10

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: And then.

11

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: in 2,015, I was in a severe motor vehicle accident, and I wasn't expected to survive the next 3 days when it happened so I was immediately air flown to a neighboring community that can better treat my injuries.

12

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: and when I woke up in the hospital about 3 days later I was informed that my life was going to look completely different than it had prior to that moment. So in 2015 I was a 3rd year university student. I was living independently. You know, holding a job. I had a good friend Group, but I was told that I was likely going to be dependent for the rest of my life. I wasn't going to be able to go back to school. I wasn't going to be able to go back to work.

13

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: And then, with all of that, it's like good luck with the social life, because who's really going to resonate with you after that.

14

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: and I remember there was one day in the hospital I was

15

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: having that moment that we hear so many of us have when we face death, and it's that moment when we start and look back at our life, often feeling regretful, wishing we would have done things differently when we actually had the chance to do it.

16

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: And I was having that moment, not because my life was in any physical danger anymore at that point, but because again the life that I had led up until then had come to an end.

17

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: And so I remember just sitting there looking out the window and thinking, my gosh! Why didn't I take that chance when I had it? Why didn't I really believe in myself? Why didn't I just do that thing that I really wanted to do.

18

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: And so I realized that I was really my only limit prior to that moment, because I didn't have any physical limits.

19

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: but I was limiting myself in my own mind because I chose to believe that I wasn't worth it. I couldn't do that. Who am I? I chose to believe in those voices of doubt and limitation, and those really held me back

20

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: so in that moment with that recognition, well, then, I set myself free. And I said, Okay, well, no matter how I'm going to recover from this point on, I'm not going to allow those thoughts in my head to hold so much weight anymore. And so

21

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: I really made a promise to myself that whatever it is that I feel like doing, I'm just gonna do it because this is my one shot. This is my one life. This is my one opportunity, and that's the same for all of us. And at the end of the day. It's just going to be us sitting there looking back at our life, wishing hopefully, not hopefully. You know my message gets across so that you know we're not all sitting there wishing that. Oh, my gosh!

22

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: Where did it go like? Why did I just let it pass me by right? And so that kind of, you know, fueled my recovery. I'll say it was a 3 year recovery, but I was able to return back to work, live independently, complete my schooling all of those things.

23

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: And then I felt like, you know what? I'm going to go back to work full time, and then I'm going to start a business when I had that idea, it was like, Yeah, because again, I'm not limiting myself. So I started a product based business. Scaled that. And then I thought, you know what I

24

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: I want to start teaching this. And so then I started to get into mindset coaching, and then I was like, well, now, I want to hear from other people's stories. So then, I'm going to start a podcast and so I just kept saying, yes and yes and yes to myself, whatever it is that I want to do. One thing led to the other, to where I am today, where my podcast, has reached a top 5% of the, you know global recognition. And now I'm teaching others to launch their podcast

25

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: to really elevate their influence. But even more so than that because the

26

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: the impact that podcasting has had on my life professionally in my business, but also personally, the confidence that it has given me in my own message. I want everybody to feel that. And so that's really what led me to where I am today.

27

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I love your story. It is so powerful. And I,

28

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: when you're talking about having a podcast. And how how much it actually helps you as a human being to grow, and especially when you're interviewing other people.

29

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: There's there's some dynamic. Every time I I get ready to do an interview. I don't generally meet people beforehand. I have some idea of who you are, because, you know, I ask you questions before you come on in a in a questionnaire format.

30

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: So the behind the scenes look for the listeners. But you, you're getting to experience another person's life

31

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: when they come on your podcast. And and what they're doing. And it's it's really amazing to me, all of the things that people have to offer and share with the world. And

32

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: you know. Yeah, it's great to come on a podcast, but to have your own platform and to be able to share your message. So powerful.

33

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: It absolutely is. And and I'm a naturally curious person. And so I love it, being able to have all of these experts, and just the most incredible people, even if they're not experts in something. I mean, they're experts in their life. They have incredible, you know, experiences. We all have these experiences that some of us can't even imagine. And so just being able to have these incredible people in the podcast and then ask them questions. And then.

34

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: you know, oh, my God, like, I've just learned so much since having launched my podcast. And it just continues. And then also with that building a network I have, you know, my podcast is now streamed in 52 countries.

35

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: and that's a network of people that I have across the globe. And that is all through podcasting. It's just incredible. It opens so many doors for you.

36

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It really does, and just getting the opportunity to talk with people from all over the world. I I just like

37

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: it's really kind of magic in that, you know.

38

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: we live in different parts of this country, or you live in Canada right.

39

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: So we're in different countries. And and yet we can come together in this space that doesn't actually even exist and share conversation.

40

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: That's just like to be born in this day, and age is kind of a miracle.

41

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: Right it absolutely is. And then you get to find your people right like Jill. We would not be having this conversation had this not, you know, be, and even for for podcasting. Because that's really how we ended up like relating and finding each other right. So just the doors that it opens. And then we can have, like these deep, meaningful

42

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: connections and conversations with people like it really is just incredible. And there's no telling where the ripples go, either, like having these conversations. Who's gonna hear it? Who's gonna hear it, you know, within, you know, the 1st few days of releasing it, but also for years to come. Like.

43

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: it's just incredible. It's incredible for people who are looking to even just nourish their own personal life and their connections. But then also, like as a business, it's really like

44

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: to be able to reach the people that your message is supposed to serve. It's just an incredible platform, and I know you and I could probably just chat about this all day, because there's just so much to it.

45

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: There really is a lot to it. But it's the connections that you make with people and the ability for collaborations to happen and just sharing experiences. It makes us all feel closer, and it doesn't matter what you're doing.

46

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: You know, I was talking to somebody yesterday who has a an Aquaponics farm, and

47

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: he wants to get more. He does business to business. He sells to restaurants, but he wants to get more in

48

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: to business, to the consumer world.

49

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: mostly because what he's producing is real organic food. And he feels passionately about

50

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: the quality of food. People are getting to eat and

51

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: perfect podcast material. I mean, you can talk about all things.

52

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: either aquaponics. He can introduce people to the idea of the farm. He can share about, you know, different.

53

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I don't know. Just like all the different things of of consuming food. More intentionally rather than you know the

54

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: the stuff that they sell at the grocery store. That isn't often either food or it's picked too early, or I. It's just like there's there's unlimited

55

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: space for sharing.

56

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, it's a beautiful, because we all have

57

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: stories. And we all, i really believe that we all have something to share. We have something special to share. We have a unique message within us, and it's the perfect platform to be able to really share that with others, so that the people who need to hear it are able to hear it.

58

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: For sure. So when you when you talk about helping online coaches get started, how does that look? What what kinds of things do you provide do you do group coaching, do you? Is it individual like.

59

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: Sure. Yeah. So yeah, so right now, I'm helping people through a group coaching program that I created, it's called just launch. And in it. I literally share everything that I did to be able to launch my podcast and within the 1st year reach top 10 globally and be streamed in 38 countries. So I really share that. And I really believe in

60

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: building something sustainable. And I really, that comes from knowing ourselves. I am a certified mindset coach. And so I bring that into everything that I do, too, and especially when it comes to business, when it's something that we really want to be aligned with what we're doing. Otherwise, we're literally just creating a job for ourselves like that's 1 of the worst things right when you create something for yourself, and you're like, Oh, my God! Like now I gotta drag my feet

61

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: to go to something that I created. And so I really believe that, finding what is true to you, finding your values and then creating your business according to your own standards, that you're setting. So what it looks like is, I really take people through connecting with themselves, finding their values and building their business based on their own values.

62

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: because that'll ensure the sustainability in the long run, even when you look at and we do all this before podcasting. Because

63

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: when you look at the statistics for podcasting, I think it's only 32% of podcasts make it past 3 episodes. And even less than that, make it past episode 10, like, there's really something. There, it is hard to be able to

64

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: be sustainable with it if we're not actually intrinsically motivated.

65

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: buy it. And so I really help my clients find that intrinsic motivation. So they're setting themselves up for success. And then from there it's really aligning to your client really finding the pain points for your audience, because essentially everybody's listening to something for a reason. We we don't listen to something. If we're not actually going to get something out of it right? Even if that just means we're getting a dose of entertainment.

66

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: But, like, what is it that your client actually really wants?

67

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: We find that out. And then we start you know, getting everything together, getting the cover photo, like piecing everything together to launch your podcast and then after that, like, once you've launched it again, because

68

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: you know, most people don't make it past 3 episodes like, then it's like, Okay, great. You got this part done. But now the game really begins. How are you going to be able to sustain it. How can you continue making connections with people? You know, you can go all over the across the globe. And so how can you continue to do that?

69

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: And I think specifically working with online coaches and creatives. Because, I really like to

70

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: incorporate your podcast with your business because, I know I mean being a coach myself like, it's hard to have this. And then have your podcast. Which was kind of feel, like a like a full time thing. If it's not really helping with the content creation of your business or helping, you attract the clients. And so I really help them create their podcast in a way that it's a marketing asset for them and really building trust with their audience, which is essentially what is going to allow? You know

71

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: someone to want to buy from you and want to come into your world as, and you be their coach right? And so I I show them how to incorporate that, and how, having a podcast, could actually facilitate your content creation because everything could flow together. It doesn't have to be this big. Add on thing. Time management is one of the biggest kind of fears. I guess when you're thinking about starting a podcast but when you do it correctly, I believe

72

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: it can almost help you save time in the sense of time. Where you're sitting there spinning your wheels, thinking, oh, my God! What do I post. Now, what do I post like? It can really all work together. And that's really what I aim to help people work through in the program.

73

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: That's that's awesome, and I'm I'm over here shaking my head. Yep, yep, those are. Those are all true things, and it's

74

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I think one of the things that I've noticed from people that you know, sometimes even people that come on my podcast is that they don't understand that there's fundamentals that you need to have in place before you just start podcasting. Yes, you can just open a Youtube channel and

75

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: say, I've got a, podcast but

76

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: you really don't. It has to have a purpose and a mission behind it. You want your audience to have a certain experience when they're listening to your podcast whether it's just to encourage them, or it's to educate them, or it's to entertain them. There's got to be a purpose for them coming there, to begin with. And then there's just some fundamental

77

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: things that you need to have set out in order to make it

78

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: not be a full time job, because it can easily starting a podcast. And and making it. Rank is

79

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: can be a full time job. I mean it.

80

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: There's a lot of moving parts. And unless you talk to somebody who knows how to streamline it so that you can do things quickly, and they don't take up your whole life

81

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: or you don't have to hire somebody to help you, which is another expense, and learning how to monetize what you're doing from the beginning is also another key ingredient.

82

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: Wouldn't you agree?

83

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. I feel like with that, though I mean the monetization. And, you know, hitting the top charts, I mean, those are all possible. But there's they still need to come in with a sense of knowing that podcasting is a long term. Game. I feel like, there's some people who want to start a podcast. And they think, Oh, I'm going to be in the top charts. Or I'm going to get like a thousand subscribers on the 1st on my 1st release, and they don't. And then, when they realize

84

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: oh, it's actually a little harder, I actually had a couple of weeks, and nobody subscribed. Then they could be tempted to

85

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: stop. Then they get all the doubts. And oh, who's listening to me? Who's this? So I think it's also having the understanding that it's a long term game. But if you stick with it, and if you do be, if you find that intrinsic motivation if you know it. And if you do really know how to streamline your process, how to make everything work together, then yeah, being able to make the top charts is inevitable.

86

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: If you could keep working with it and know what you're doing, I mean again, if we're looking at only 32% make it past episode 3, like, how many are actually really still going? I think it's something like 12% of people make it past the 1st year. So if you're still going, and you continue to

87

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: get new skills and get better and better at your craft, you can make it in the top charts like, maybe not tomorrow, but you will if you stick with it, and the same with monetization, especially when we talk about. If you're a coach and you're building trust within your audience. You're making sure that your episodes are actually providing value to them, maybe answering their pain points, giving them things that they can do to, you know, feel better where they're at, or start taking action towards. Then you could also

88

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: attract your clients in in the 1st year that I had started a podcast because, I had actually started my podcast just to start it. I didn't really have any real intention of monetizing it or anything like that when I started because I was still running my product based business at the time, but

89

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: because I had my coaching business on the side I was actually getting clients through my podcast without even intentionally promoting what I was doing. And so it could. Really, it's such a powerful tool to build that trust.

90

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: But you need to know that it's not going to be a next day kind of thing. You need to be able to give it time, and I feel like that's where so many Podcasters end up. Just quitting because it could be really discouraging. If you're only looking at the outside. You know the analytics the outside numbers, and only looking and allowing yourself to get caught up in your head. Essentially.

91

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Yeah, a lot of it's getting caught in your head and and thinking that it is the mechanism podcasting is really about marketing.

92

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It's getting your message out there, and that's how marketing is, and it's sharing your brand. It's sharing how you want people to feel. And it's sharing information. But it's

93

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: it's it's like saying you want to have a store

94

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: and not putting any products in your store but running out and advertising and telling people to come see it

95

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: it.

96

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: you know. It just doesn't make sense. But people do that all the time, which is really to me. Why, it's important

97

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: to hire somebody that can say, Yeah, that's not going to work for you, but maybe try it this way, or let's, you know, brainstorm a little bit around some ideas that might help you be able to get started on the right foot, and knowing that you know this is going to be a long term thing, and how to

98

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: record ahead, you know.

99

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: It was.

100

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: That you can have some time off plan for being able to sustain your podcast from the beginning rather than

101

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: just launching it and thinking. Oh, I'll just do it whenever I want. It's little things like knowing when you're dropping your episodes. How frequently.

102

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: you know. Do you want to take some time off. How far ahead do you need to be

103

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: recording in order to be able to do that in your life? And how does that make sense in what you're doing at this. There's the things that you know. I, too, just

104

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: on a whim, because I was really excited about what coaches were doing out there, and I knew that I wanted to share

105

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: what what was happening in the world.

106

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: That was on the positive side, because I felt like we just come through Covid. And you know people were feeling discouraged, and I just wanted to say, No, no, we're not really going off that cliff that they want to push us over.

107

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: We're

108

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: there's people out there who are trying to make a difference. And I wanted to give them a voice.

109

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: But I yeah, I I did hire a coach.

110

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: and it turned things around really quickly for me.

111

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: because they told me, you know you, you have to have these basic fundamental things in order to get your podcast

112

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: to be seen as as something other than just a fly-by-night afterthought.

113

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: yeah, absolutely. Oh, my, gosh, I mean, there's so many things that I want to say, without what you just said is, so good. I feel like

114

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: I mean, 1st of all.

115

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: you're totally right. And in my program I guide people to crafting their strategy for the next 52 weeks, because again, only 12% of Podcasters make it past the 52 weeks. So let's create a plan for the next 52 episodes. So that you have that. And then, once you have that.

116

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: you essentially have the marketing plan, because you strategically place your podcast, to hit your pillars, hit your clients. Pain points like you have the content strategy for your whole business, like just like that, like it could really work together when you know how to do it.

117

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: And I feel like, and I'd love to hear your experience with this. Or if you have experience with this Jill. But a lot of people want to start a podcast. And they're like.

118

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: well, my message could help everybody. I want to help everybody. But then, if you're talking to everybody, you're talking to nobody. You really want to get clear on who you're talking to and get specific, whereas if you don't have the coach, if you don't have the person to really guide you to finding that. Then you do just end up speaking to everyone and then wondering like, Why aren't I really getting the traction that I want. Especially, I feel like podcasting is such a unique platform because

119

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: the listener likely has you in their ears. Right? Like I'm talking to you, right? It's the one person. It's not like a whole group of people all at once, like, I'm on stage in front of an audience like it's an intimate space. And so you really want to make sure that you know who it is that you're actually

120

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: speaking with.

121

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Yeah, it keeps you from making silly mistakes.

122

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I used to call it stepping on your tongue.

123

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Yeah, absolutely.

124

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It's easy to offend people if you're talking to everybody that you're gonna offend half the people that you're talking to.

125

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: and any given time, because nobody looks.

126

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: not everyone looks at the world the same way that you do. And so, even if you think you're speaking to everybody, you aren't, you're only speaking to the people that resonate with you. So why not get real personal with them?

127

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: You know. Let them in. Let them be your really close friends, because to them they are.

128

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: Yeah.

129

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: absolutely. And that last point that I wanted that I wanted to make in terms of going and getting, you know, a coach to help you with these things that

130

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: you're not an expert in right away, because you're just starting. This might be like a foreign territory for you. And the reason why working with someone is so important and something that I always say, like in my community and in my own podcast is really again, going back to the, you know, mindset coaching that I do like. Our level of awareness is currently right here, and we essentially have blinders on to everything else. We only know what we know.

131

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: and we don't know what we don't know. And so if we're wanting to venture off into something that's new and unknown to us.

132

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: We're not actually going to know what it is that we're doing or what we want to do, unless we work with someone else who can bring us to that other level of awareness by teaching us something right? And so it's always so important to go and work with someone who has similar results to the ones that we want, so that we can like get that information kind of follow their footsteps, so to speak, to be able to find it. Because if we just

133

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: go with the resources that we have right now, essentially, what we know has brought us the results that we currently have. So if we want something different, then we want to go out and find someone who has those results to be able to help us get there.

134

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Absolutely, absolutely. It's, you know.

135

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: before the Internet, in fact, pretty much before Covid people would go to college, they would take training courses, and they paid good money for it. But we've reached a point where so many people have

136

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: looked at

137

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: how easy the entry to barrier is because of the Internet for all of these different skills. I mean.

138

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I don't know you could do a bunch of research and call yourself a lawyer.

139

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: You might not pass the bar, you might even pass the bar. Who knows but it would be? It's more expedient to just go to law school

140

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: because they know the steps that you need to go through in order to pass the bar and to actually practice

141

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: rather than just, you know, getting some free training out there and thinking you, you got all the answers. It really does end up costing people more money when they try to do things for free, where they only get half the picture which is most free. Information is not.

142

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: is by design, not there to equip you with everything you need to know in order to

143

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: accomplish the goal that you're trying to accomplish, unless it's like a little.

144

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: a little snippet of something like you know how to do something really tiny. But when you're talking about putting a sustainable podcast together, one that's going to be there for the long haul.

145

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: it's not just like one or 2 moving parts. There's a lot of different pieces that go towards

146

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: putting together something meaningful and useful for for your audience.

147

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And you know the the idea that you know. Oh, I can just find that information for free.

148

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Yeah, you you might be able to, but it's gonna cost you time, and time is money.

149

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: Absolutely. Yeah. That's the point that I wanted to make, too, right? Because we gotta think like, especially as online entrepreneurs and coaches like, what is your time worth and like? How much time do you really want to put in doing it yourself, like it's really not free. If you think of how much time could be saved. And you can actually be connecting with your audience, actually making those sales like.

150

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: how much money could you make during that time that you would instead be like, no, I'm gonna do this for free. So it's really interesting. You really got to put like everything into consideration.

151

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: Am I really saving money?

152

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: No, and.

153

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And then when you, when you go out there and you half asset, which is usually what happens.

154

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: it becomes your reputation you get.

155

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: You're starting to put your stuff out there. And then people.

156

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: you know, the 5 people that are gonna see? You are gonna be like, yeah, no.

157

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And 5 people.

158

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: Or knowing that it's not gonna last.

159

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: Thank you.

160

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: One to start something and then stop, start something and then stop. I mean, you kind of lose all of that excitement. It's kind of like, oh, this person starting something. Okay, like, we'll see how long it lasts. So we have to put that into consideration, too, right like.

161

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: how and how are we? How are we showing up?

162

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: And especially when we talk about again, like online coaching? The way we show up because everything is vibration like we are attracting who we are, what is in accordance with our own vibration. And so we gotta think, too. If we want to just take the free way out, take our time with it. Maybe put something out there, then pull back.

163

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: But then we expect clients like these are the caliber of clients that we're also attracting. Right? So we want to be that which we want to be and who we want to attract at the same time.

164

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Exactly. And so

165

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: it's really important. I think it really does start with mindset. Like you said, you know, having having the right frame of mind and and the confidence really, that

166

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: you know I'm

167

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I'm not just going to try. I'm going to do as Yoda says. There is no try. There's only do or do not

168

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: do not, or do something like that. It's been a minute.

169

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: but it's it's really about just making the commitment

170

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: like you don't. You're not gonna go to college, pluck down all that money and say, Oh, I think I'm just gonna go for one semester, and we'll see how it works out.

171

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: You might do that. But, man, that's expensive.

172

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: You need to have an overarching plan. If you're gonna spend that kind of money on an education. So you know, figure figure it out. So I think

173

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: really the best thing to do is

174

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: join Jessica's community over there on Facebook and really see how she

175

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: puts her information out there, because I know you're you're

176

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: you're always going live. Every time I turn around you're going live

177

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: getting these notices, Jessica Smith again.

178

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: Yes, I really do. Going, live. Yeah.

179

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: You put out a lot of really valuable content.

180

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And that's in addition to the podcast that you already have that people can find everywhere. Apple.

181

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: You can probably even just go to your website, which is Tresserhouseca

182

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: and and find that. And you also have a gift that you give to people who do go over and visit your website. You want to talk about that a little bit.

183

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: Yeah, absolutely. Thank you for that. So the gift that I have is an eft tapping. So that's emotional freedom technique. And this is actually something that I offer inside my Facebook community to every single Thursday. If you're not familiar with eft tapping, it's kind of

184

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: I love it. It has completely transformed my life. It's I feel like it's a combination of meditation, somatic healing. And then also powerful affirmation statements. So what you're doing is you are affirming things as you're going through.

185

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: I do 9 points throughout your body, tapping on specific meridian points to release any resistance that you're feeling, and then welcoming the desired feeling state whether that be abundance or just stress relief. And so the gift that I have for you today is to tap into your creative confidence which I think we all need just to be able to have that confidence, to recognize that

186

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: we're the creator of our life. What is it that we want to create. And so doing this

187

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: free guide, you are going to release any of the resistance or any of the doubts that you might have, or any of the fears that you might have to, you know, being able to create the life that you want, because some of us may be a little like, can I? Really, though? So we're going to release all of that first, st and then we're going to welcome in

188

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: the confidence of knowing and recognizing that. Yeah, hold on a second. I do have the power. I am the creator of my life. I can do what it is that I want, and really inviting affirmation, so that you recognize what it is that you want, because we all know that I really do believe that we all came here with a unique purpose, and life. Circumstances maybe cause us to forget what that is.

189

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: But, given the right, you know, practices. When we really return back within ourselves. We know what it is, and we're going to find it. And so that's what this eft tapping guide helps you uncover or rediscover.

190

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I love viva eft I it's

191

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: it's so simple, but it's so powerful

192

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: it it just seems like when I 1st discovered it, I was like, Oh, this is silly, it can't possibly work.

193

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And then I I manifested $3,500.

194

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I was doing tapping with Margaret Lynch. This is you?

195

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: There's okay.

196

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Ago, when she was 1st getting it started, she did tapping for $50,000, so I did it every day for a week.

197

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: and then, you know, I I kinda you know.

198

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: went off and was doing other stuff. And so

199

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: a couple days later I got to my mailbox and $3,500 was sitting in my mailbox totally.

200

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It just like just showed up.

201

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: That was my 1st experience with tapping. So I'm like I am all in.

202

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: Yeah. Did it get you to go back to do the to the $50,000 copy for longer, if you're like, Oh, my God! This works.

203

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Yeah. And and I follow Brad Yates a lot in fact, I'm part of his community at week. I tap every week with him it, he it just tapping just releases

204

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: stuff, and you don't even have to talk. You could just tap on the meridians and it it will calm your nervous system, your central nervous system

205

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: down it. It's just

206

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I I call it magic, because, you know, I don't know how it works scientifically, but I do know that it is science based. And you know, people are using it to help people with Ptsd and all kinds of really

207

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: tough emotional conditions that they're they're struggling with. So

208

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I love that you're you're offering this to people because it really is. The 1st place to start is to to believe in yourself to believe in your message, and then hire you to help them get started on the right foot.

209

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: Yes, absolutely. And thank you for saying that. And it's so funny, because I always used to do eft just myself, just like in my own head, repeating affirmations, and the 1st time that I decided to go live in my group and do it, and I was actually facilitating out loud. Oh, my gosh! After we went through it, I kind of started the live with like a lot of excitement, and, like, you know, really excited in my voice, and then, after the tapping, it was like, very calm, like, Okay, everybody.

210

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: I hope you enjoyed this until next time, like it really calms you down. It was amazing. I'm like, Okay, there's the power right there. See to my voice.

211

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Yeah, yeah, it's so

212

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: definitely join Jess's community over there on Facebook. And we'll put all these links in the show notes. So you'll be able to find them. I have really enjoyed chatting with you today, Jessica. Thank you so much for joining me. What's the one thing you hope the audience takes away from our conversation today.

213

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: Well, 1st of all, thank you for having me, Jill. It was so great chatting with you. I really love this conversation. I feel like I could chat with you all day seriously. And so one thing that I'd like the listener to take away is really to know that they have the power. And again, if that's a little like I don't know doing the eft tapping, I you will be able to start to see that and start to see that creative power that you have in your life. And just

214

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: remember that most often we are our own limitations. It's all the internal narrative that we have. And so, if we were to start affirming to ourselves that I can have what I want in my life, I am the Creator that can have such a huge transformational effect. So just remember that you are in control. You're the writer, you are the director, you are literally the creator. And what would you do when you would really believe in the power that you have? That would be

215

::

Jess West | Feminine Initiate Podcast: my my takeaway.

216

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: So good! Thanks for joining me.
