Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: And the message here is to really get grounded and revisit. What are we about? What are our values? What is our success look like? And what is the impact that we want to make in the world? And then just regroup and come back

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: No, I think you know, as you say, it's a new world, you know. Decades ago we only knew what was happening in our little village, probably more than decades ago, and now we're just being, if we're not careful. Bombarded

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: from every angle there is, there's a lot of sort of upheaval going on in the world at the moment, and if we get stuck in that cycle we will lose ourselves, and we will lose our energy, and then we can't make

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: figure out how to build the foundations of the business that they want to start. And coaching is a business. A lot of people just want to be healers, and they don't want to think about the money aspect of it, but the the money is just an energy exchange. So

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: Yeah. So I just gonna say, it's it's my mission to help those women to be able to do more of what they love to do and to make their marketing. Not this crazy chore of gobbledygook, that's scary, but an extension of themselves. So that becomes easier. And

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: this is why I like to focus on the foundations of marketing, because if you don't get your foundations right, and by foundations, we're talking about things like understanding who you are so. What is your superpower? Why are you unique, you know, and it's an old story. Everybody says, Oh, you're unique, you're special, but the truth is, we are, we might be offering the same as a whole bunch of other people. But at the end of the day there is something

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: special. There's something different. There's something unique to you as an individual. So we've got to look at your your superpower, your skills, your values, your

So if your audience doesn't understand who you are and what you stand for, then there's nothing for them to necessarily connect with, or what you do. So that's your superpower. When you understand that, you can also start to sell from a different energy. So your selling becomes service, because now you really stand in how much you help, and you're offering

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: Absolutely. So we've got understanding who you are. We've got the next step, then, is to really understand who you want to work with your niche.

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: But we've got to choose a niche that really excites us, that aligns with us a niche that we know we can best help.

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: Looking around our skills. And then we've got to take the next step of actually getting to know them. So we've got to understand them inside and out to know that we're now, we definitely have something that they want, and we know what it is they want. So it is selling them the transformation. So where are they today?

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: And then, as you say, you've got to work out. How are you taking them there

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: and then you're packaging them up. Your offer is just a package. But really, what they need to know is how you will impact their lives.

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: And you've got to be impacting them lives in something that is actually critical to them.

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: Right? People are going to buy because you're fixing their biggest problem today.

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: and then, as you say, is, what do you do? So what are you selling? You're not selling a coaching package. You're selling a transformation.

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: and you need to understand what that actually is. And then you need to talk in your clients language.

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: and then you can take them in the next step, and very often, if we haven't taken the time to understand who we are, what we do and for whom

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: and how we can show up in the best version of ourselves. Then I see a lot of people, you know, we jump straight to building a website, jump straight to Facebook ads, or, you know, throwing content out on on social.

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: Then it becomes so much easier to market your business, because now you you know what to say. You have thought leadership. You know what your people need to know about you. You know what people need to know about them and about the journey you can take them from. So it's no longer sort of a wishing.

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: It's really honing in what you spend your time and your energy on. So you don't, you know, do a whole bunch of marketing in an area where actually, your audience is not there?

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: yeah, I mean that in terms of not everybody's in the same place. They may be on the same journey, but they're in different places. And how do you help your clients address those different aspects.

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: you're in the business of drawing people in. So when you want to call out, you work out where on the journey your clients need to be.

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: then you start talking to that. So, for you know, for example, if you've got again, you know, healing coaches or healers, some of your clients are open to it. Some of your clients have never heard of it. Some of your clients have been doing it for years, and then you've got to decide which which one of those

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: is the person that you can help the best, those that are starting out or not. And then you talk to the type of things that they're currently experiencing. So we've really got to get specific.

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: And then it's also talking to action words like, Are you ready to make a change?

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: Now is the time, if now is the time. So you're calling out action takers

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: right? And then you can also have a nurturing piece of your messaging to bring people into your world so they might be sitting here, and they don't quite yet understand what you do, and by using your messaging and your content to explain the different pieces

Lily Rudolph - Align Marketing: and then because we all make decisions, 1st with our emotions, 1st with our heart, 1st with our connection, which is why, you know, I tell people to stand in who they actually are. And then at the end, our cognitive brain is going to come in and they're going to go. Okay, well, how does this work? And then they're going to want to know how many sessions you have, what support there is. Is there a bonus

And if they say Yes, then you know, all you gotta do is figure out how they can make how you can make it affordable for them, and if they say no, then

You know your market research is something that we should keep being curious about. Keep paying attention on.

Yeah, do that in one to one I've got a what I call my line marketing formula, which is something that depending on the package my clients choose. If you're trying to do a strategy that goes against your values, and you'll know there's no neon sign, but there's a knot in your stomach every time you try and do it right. You're not ever going to be successful, because you're fighting against your own subconscious mind. You're fighting against your own values.

But we don't really allow ourselves to choose those people that are going to set us on fire. So I created the dream client meditation to help you get beyond your conscious mind

So it's lovely just to take the time for the meditation, and then that will start to bring out the things you may not have realized, or you may not have said aloud.

Get it out on paper, see it in real life, so that you can start to get a very clear picture of who your people are.
